Curated by Matteo Balduzzi and Giovanna Calvenzi, the exhibition presents to the public, for the first time, an itinerary that crosses the main researches carried out by Gabriele Basilico on Rome, a city deeply loved and intensely frequented by the Milanese photographer. A selection of over fifty works in a narrative journey specifically designed to dialogue with the spaces of Palazzo Altemps, whose rooms and collections establish a direct relationship with the subjects of the photographs on display.

The exhibition is promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture in collaboration with Museo Nazionale Romano, Mufoco – Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea and Archivio Gabriele Basilico.
