The exhibition was set up in a temporary space, an old wood warehouse. The “community” idea at the basis of the SEAF program was interpreted through the main element of the project: a long table, which crosses the entire warehouse hosting selected artists’ artworks. The table is a single sequence of display cases, the content of which consists of sketches, drawings, photos and documents created by the artists in their ateliers. The long table is designed to look like a pile of raw industrial wood, recalling the warehouse’s original function. The main room is equipped with an imploded lighting system, characterized by 10 inverted pyramid trunks wrapped in white fabric, which exploit the natural lighting of the existing skylights. Each skylight has a customized “foot”, ready to accommodate the different types of media present in the exhibition.
