The theme of this proposal is to create a structure/support installation for the cultural activities planned for the Fondazione Feltrinelli Festival. The intervention area is located in a south-east portion of the ‘boulevard’ facing Fondazione’s headquarters. Festival’s program includes various activities (events, meetings, performances, entertainment). This proposal wants to provide a flexible structure. The stage consists of two components: the metal platform and the seating modules. The metal platform is an horizontal surface (14.00×7.00m) supported by a stepping back substructure, invisible from outside. It is imagined to guarantee the horizontality of the stage, considering the sloping existing flooring. The seating modules can be aggregated around the platform or assembled and fixed on it. When disaggregated, they can be recomposed in different ways in order to create small audiences clusters, benches, workshops groups.
